Class of 1965
As most of you know, we have been planning our Northridge High School 40th class reunion. We have already had several positive responses. Many have never been to a reunion, others only attended a few and others have been to all of them. We would like to see each and every one of you attend your 40th reunion. The dress for both nights will be casual so that we all can come and have a good time reuniting old friendships and making new friendships. Plans are to invite some of our old teachers.
Our plans are as follows: (Pick and choose or do it all)
May 27, 2005 – 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM -Tour the Esther Dennis Middle (Our old high
school. After this tour, we will head over to the new high school
(which is now 40 years old – can’t be?) and tour it. After
touring the 40 year old/new high school, we will have Marion’s
pizza in the cafeteria. We will be entertained by a wonderful DVD
with pictures and music from our past. If you like the DVD, copies will
be available to purchase for $10.00. ($15.00 Mailed)
Evening free to each classmate and one guest/spouse.
May 28, 2005 - 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM – Breakfast Buffet at the Golden Corral, Miller Lane
Pay at the door – Price is $7.41, includes tax and beverage
Saturday evening we will meet at Celebrations (The old Haer’s Party House) on Stop Eight Road for a buffet dinner, dance, door prizes
May 28, 2005 - 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM – Hors D’oeuvres and get reacquainted
7:00 PM – Buffet Dinner – Includes 3 entrees, salad, vegetables, coffee, tea
desserts (Other drinks available for additional cost – Price is $20.00 per
person paid by April 1, 2005 or $25.00 at the door. Unable to join us for
dinner, join us at 9:00 PM, entry fee of $10.00 – (Will be added to our Class
Reunion Fund)
8:00 PM – 12:00 AM – Have fun, dance to the oldies, DVD from Friday evening replayed and available for purchase.
There are 15 rooms blocked off for the reunion at the Holiday Inn Express, Tipp City, ($70.00) and 15 rooms at Howard Johnsons, Poe Ave, ($59.00). Please make your reservations, if needed, in accordance with the attached “Hotel and Additional Information Sheet”.
Please fill out the attached form, check the events you would like to participate in and return to us no later than April 15, 2005. If you have any funny stories about another classmate, an incident or a teacher from our high school days, please send those to us so that we can put them in the Memory Book. Please return your form, short story and your check as soon as possible.
